Free Job Board, Updated Every Morning

Fresh job openings from engineering to marketing. Filter by country, seniority and workplace, then let job.fail fill in the application and write the cover letter for you.

Greenhouse jobs, Lever jobs, Ashby jobs. One board.

Most jobs start life on the company's own careers page, and most careers pages run on an applicant tracking system like Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby. Each company's board stands alone, so finding them means checking one company at a time. job.fail reads those boards every morning and puts every open job in one list you can filter by country, seniority and workplace. Greenhouse the hiring software, that is. Not the place with the tomatoes.

Straight from the companies' own hiring systems

Every listing comes from the public job feed of the company's applicant tracking system, the software behind its careers page. Nothing is copied from other job boards, nothing comes from recruiters, and nobody pays to be listed. job.fail reads nine of them:

  • Greenhouse jobs
  • Lever jobs
  • Ashby jobs
  • Workable jobs
  • Recruitee jobs
  • Personio jobs
  • Breezy HR jobs
  • SmartRecruiters jobs
  • Teamtailor jobs

Still open, or it's not here

The board checks every company's feed every morning. A job is listed only while the company still lists it. Once they take it down, it's gone from job.fail the next day, so you're not applying to a role that was filled in March. If a company forgets to take a job down, we can't tell either, but every job shows how long ago it went up. A posting that's been open since spring tells its own story.

How to use the job board

  1. Filter: Pick a profession, a country or a whole region, remote, hybrid or on-site, a seniority, an employment type and a schedule, or just search. The address bar keeps your filters, so you can share the view.
  2. Apply on the company's site: Every job opens the original posting on the company's careers page. That's where you apply, the same as if you'd found it there.
  3. Let job.fail do the typing: With the job.fail extension for Chrome, the application form fills itself in and a cover letter is drafted from the posting. You still press submit.

Dumb questions about the job board

Where do the jobs on job.fail come from?

From the companies themselves. Every job is read from the public feed of the company's applicant tracking system: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Personio, Breezy HR, SmartRecruiters or Teamtailor. Nothing is copied from other job boards, and nobody pays to be listed.

How do I search Greenhouse jobs across all companies?

Right here. Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby host each company's job board separately, so job.fail reads them one by one and puts the jobs in one list. Search for a title or a company, or filter by country, profession and seniority.

What is an applicant tracking system (ATS)?

The software a company uses to post its jobs and collect applications. When you apply on a careers page, you're usually filling in an ATS form, and that's the form the job.fail extension fills in for you.

How often is the job board updated?

Every morning. job.fail checks every company's feed once a day, early in the morning Central European time, adds the new jobs and drops the ones that closed.

How do I avoid ghost jobs?

Start with jobs the company still lists itself. A job here is one the company had on its own careers page this morning, and it disappears the day the company takes it down. For the rest, look at how long it's been up: every job shows its age.

Is the job board free? Do I need an account to search jobs?

Searching the job board is free and needs no account. Sign in with Google or LinkedIn to save jobs to your account. Cover letters and CVs run on job.fail tokens; the pricing page has the numbers.

How is job.fail different from LinkedIn or Indeed?

It's stricter about where jobs come from. Big job sites take postings from employers, recruiters and other boards, and a listing can outlive the role. job.fail lists only what companies publish on their own hiring systems, and only while they publish it. You won't find every job here. You'll find fewer dead ones.

Can I find remote jobs, or jobs in a specific country?

Yes. Set the workplace filter to remote, hybrid or on-site, and pick a country or a whole region like Europe or North America. Every country and profession also has its own page, linked at the bottom of this one.
